About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Product Designer (UX/UI) to create intuitive, modern, and user-friendly digital experiences across web and mobile products.

You’ll own the design process from user research and wireframing through high-fidelity UI, prototyping, and developer handoff, working closely with Product and Engineering.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong UX problem-solving with polished visual design and knows how to turn complex ideas into simple, engaging product experiences.

What You’ll Do

UX Research & Product Discovery

  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and surveys
  • Create user flows, personas, and journey maps
  • Identify friction points and opportunities to improve the product
  • Use tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Hotjar to understand user behavior

UX/UI Design & Prototyping

  • Create wireframes, user flows, and clickable prototypes
  • Design polished, responsive interfaces for web and mobile
  • Work primarily in Figma, with Adobe XD or Sketch experience also valuable
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, testing, and product requirements

Design Systems

  • Build and maintain reusable components and design patterns
  • Maintain consistency across typography, spacing, colors, and UI elements
  • Help scale design systems as products grow

Collaboration & Handoff

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders
  • Translate product requirements into clear design solutions
  • Prepare organized developer handoffs using Figma Dev Mode, Zeplin, or similar tools
  • Review implementations to ensure design accuracy and usability

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of Product Design / UX/UI experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and UI craftsmanship
  • Strong proficiency with Figma
  • Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile products
  • Strong understanding of:
    • User flows
    • Wireframing
    • Prototyping
    • Usability
    • Accessibility
    • Design systems
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • SaaS, consumer app, or enterprise product experience
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with analytics, usability testing, or A/B testing
  • Experience building or scaling design systems

What Success Looks Like

  • Intuitive and polished product experiences
  • Improved usability, engagement, and user satisfaction
  • Smooth collaboration and developer handoffs
  • Consistent adoption of design systems
  • Fewer design revisions and usability issues
  • Reliable delivery within product and sprint timelines

Why This Role Stands Out

  • High ownership over real product experiences
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering
  • Modern UX/UI and product design workflows
  • Opportunity to influence product decisions
  • Fully remote environment
  • Growth into Senior Product Designer, Lead Designer, or Design Systems Lead

Interview Process

  1. Initial Application Review
  2. Spark Hire Intro Video
  3. Portfolio Review + Design Task
  4. Client Interview
  5. Offer & Onboarding

What Happens After You Apply

After applying, you’ll receive an email invitation from Spark Hire to complete a short Intro Video. This gives our hiring team an opportunity to learn more about your design experience, portfolio, UX approach, and communication style before the interview stage.

You can complete the recording on your own time and re-record your responses before submitting if needed.
