What you'll do
- Keep system, software and hardware baselines controlled through the full lifecycle of complex information systems
- Review proposed engineering changes for effects on baselines and logistics support, then prepare approval and rollout directives
- Guide Configuration Control Boards and preserve baseline records, technical documents and audit support
- Work with quality assurance and management to keep product baseline documentation accurate
- Lead or supervise configuration management specialists

- At least five years of relevant experience and a certification from a nationally recognized authority
- You hold an IT-II clearance or a current NACLC, with the stated federal clearance conditions
- You have managed configuration baselines for complex information systems and their software and hardware components
- You have prepared change authorization and implementation directives and can advise Configuration Control Boards

Summary- Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a team of configuration management specialists.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to provide configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements.
- Ability to facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
- Ability to maintain allocated, functional and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support.
- Able to review all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
- Maintains configuration control records and technical documents.
- Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
- Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.

- 5+ years relevant experience.
- Possess a relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
- Demonstrated experience preparing change authorization and implementation directives.
- Demonstrated experience providing configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems, including software and hardware components.
- Ability to facilitate, support, and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
- Experience with SAP environments, including change management, transport management, configuration documentation, release coordination, or system lifecycle support.
