From the employer
About Dash0
Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product developers love, with transparent pricing and built-in cost control.
The Opportunity
Dash0 is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to sit at the intersection of product and market. You'll work closely with the product team, translating what we build into compelling narratives that resonate with the market and key personas: developers, platform architects, SREs, and technical decision-makers.
This role is part of the Product and Solution Marketing team, which owns Dash0's messaging and execution to support and accelerate our growth. We're not looking for someone to run the traditional PMM playbook, as we're looking for someone who wants to rewrite it.
What You'll Do
Own product positioning and messaging — crafting how we talk about what we build across all channels and collateral, including sales decks, pitch decks, product presentations and the website blogs.
Contribute to and shape Dash0's broader messaging framework as part of the Product Marketing team.
Assimilate into the product team: participate in product discussions, roadmap planning, and customer meetings to stay ahead of what's coming and shape how it's communicated.
Develop and maintain deep competitive intelligence, understanding how competitors message and position, where we differentiate, and how to make that differentiation clear and compelling.
Own the GTM motion for product launches: from messaging and positioning to enablement materials and launch execution.
Contribute in an impactful way to the GTM Sales enablement ongoing activities.
Experiment with new formats and approaches to communicate product value, try unconventional things, iterate fast, and share what you learn.
Own and report on product marketing KPIs: win rates, content engagement, launch adoption, and pipeline influence.
What You Bring
5+ years of product marketing experience with demonstrated senior-level ownership and tangible impact.
Fluency in both the technical and business-value dimensions of product and solution marketing — you can write for a developer and present ROI to a VP, and you know when each register matters.
Hands-on AI practitioner: you use AI tools natively in your functional workflow — research, competitive analysis, content pipelines — and you iterate on those workflows as part of how you work, not as a side experiment.
Startup experience or mindset: you thrive where you build the playbook, not just run it, and you're energized by ambiguity.
Demonstrated ability to own and produce a wide variety of assets: website content, customer stories, sales decks, pitch decks, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Strong competitive analysis and data-driven instincts — you dissect competitor positioning, define success metrics for your own work, and use data to iterate on what's working.
Exceptional writing and storytelling: you translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and business audiences.
Nice to Have
A technical background, including former developer, platform engineer, or SRE.
Product management background or experience sitting on the other side of the PMM-product or PMM-market relationship.
Experience in or genuine passion for observability or the broader DevOps/infrastructure space.
Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment.
